Description: this activity is a group project on the identification of one main challenge in a specific community (economic, social, or environmental issues) and the development of some ideas for possible solutions that can be implemented by two or more organisations working together. Note to users: this exercise has been designed to be implemented with a facilitator.

Introduction: In this role-play exercise, you will have the opportunity to simulate a project management scenario in a socio-economically disadvantaged neighborhood. The exercise aims to enhance your understanding of the unique challenges and considerations involved in managing projects in such communities. You will take on different roles and work collaboratively to navigate through the project management process.

Facilitate a group discussion where participants analyze the project scenario and identify the key components of the project plan. Encourage participants to consider factors such as community engagement, resource allocation, timeline, and risk management.
Step 4: Role-Play Simulation
Conduct the role-play exercise, allowing participants to engage in project management activities within their assigned roles. Encourage participants to interact, negotiate, and make decisions based on their role perspectives. Monitor the progress of the role-play and provide guidance or clarification as needed.
